Patagonia Unleashed |Two Weeks in Chile and Argentina

I knew I would love Patagonia before I even arrived. I’d dreamt of visiting for so long that I don’t even remember how I first learned about it. I can only assume it was a picture or story from a fellow traveler that first prompted me to want to visit. Not easy to access or [...]

Banff and Jasper National Parks Unleashed: 9 Day Itinerary

After years of dreaming, I was finally able to cross a pretty big bucket list trip off the list. I can't recall how I even originally heard about Banff and Jasper National Parks, but I've known for years that I wanted to go. So, at the end of June, my friend Jaime and I set [...]

Iconic Drives to Add to Your Bucket List

When you think back to some of your favorite vacations, do you remember the place you ended up or the journey to get there? Some of the best trips I've taken have included some of the most beautiful drives in the world, so for me it was definitely the journey that made the trips truly memorable. There [...]

Savannah in Less than 48 hours

Savannah in Less than 48 hours

With round trip airfare options from Cleveland for less than $150 per person, and a direct flight, there is no better time to visit Savannah, Georgia. While I wouldn't necessarily recommend going at the hottest time of the year in July, I had a fabulous time in this ridiculously charming city. To get the true [...]

California Coast in 5 Days and 2,725 Miles

I rarely need an excuse to travel, so when my husband bought me tickets to see Metallica in San Francisco I knew we had to extend our time in California. We've been talking about driving up the coast for years, but never committed. Now we had the perfect excuse to check off a bucket-list trip. We booked our trip Wednesday [...]

Tips for Seeing the Cherry Blossoms in Washington D.C.

Seeing the cherry blossoms in Washington, D.C. has been a bucket list trip for years. As spring approached this past year, I found myself wondering what was I waiting for? D.C. is not that far from Cleveland (six hours to be exact) and can easily be driven there and back in a couple of days. [...]

Gosh Cleveland, you're so pretty.
Continuing to get through this week by reliving our three weeks in Florida. Clearly in denial.
Morning paddles at Stump Pass Beach State Park in Englewood, Florida. Limited boat traffic, dolphin sightings and gorgeous beach/water.
Enjoying my time wandering around Boca Grande. It's such a cute beach town, with lots of fancy homes.
My heart is in Manasota Key. Early morning walks on the beach before work are the best. I could get used to this lifestyle. Maybe being a snowbird is in my future after all...
Lakewood Park sunset in the arctic tundra, otherwise known as Lake Erie. Brrr.
