After a two week hiatus (I know – I’m sorry!) I’m back to provide you with a variety of activities in the Cleveland area this week! I hope that everyone had a fabulous 4th of July weekend. The weather was absolutely perfect and there was so much going on in the city. Now it’s time to keep the energy going and take advantage of what our city has to offer!
Wednesdays in the city provide so many options, I don’t even know where to begin. How about at Transformer Station in the Hingetown area of Ohio City (West 29th and Detroit)? Ohio City Stages kicks off for it’s second year in a row, with international musicians performing on a neighborhood stage. This event is free, starts at 7:30 p.m. and promises to be amazing!
Looking for a more relaxing option this Wednesday? Head to the North Lawn of the Cleveland Museum of Art for a free yoga class by Zenworks Yoga. These free yoga classes will be available through the end of July and start at 6 p.m. Head on over to Wade Oval Wednesdays when you are through for free, live music as well!
So you’ve probably heard me talk about Edgewater Live a few times, but have you heard of Euclid Beach Live? Apparently, while I was busy being excited about Edgewater finally being utilized I failed to notice that a similar event was happening on the east side of Cleveland at Euclid Beach. Each Friday through the end of July, head to Euclid Beach (off the E. 185th exit on 90) to enjoy live music down on the beach.
Ready for some weekend fun? Head to the Lakewood Summer Meltdown this Saturday! I love this event because not only does it feature some good, healthy fun with a 5k and 1k walk, but it also includes a beer garden, live music and more! The event kicks off at 4 p.m. in downtown Lakewood and continues until 10 p.m.
The Cleveland Indians will also be in town this weekend, taking on the White Sox. Enjoy the gorgeous weather and support our team!
